Information for patients
As you all know by now I am retiring Oct 31st. This is a very positive transition as you and I are so fortunate to have such a great replacement in Dr Danielle Lewis! She has will continue to be able to confer with me about your care when needed. If you would like to come in to say goodbye but do not have a medical requirement then we have set up 3 days – Aug 20 , Sept 24 and Oct 29.
REMINDER: If you need to be seen by a physician please let me know instead of going to an urgent care or walk in clinic. Many people are not aware that when you see another physician I have to pay that physician the fee to see you and most days I have lots of spots for fits ins.
They have reinstated the charge if your pharmacy asks or you call in for a Rx. In my practice I will not charge those over 80yrs of age. So if you need a renewal please make an appt and I will do my best to update meds when you come in!

Each week I will update my schedule each Monday for that week so that you know what I am up to. Please look under the Hours of Operation section.
The abbreviations for my schedule are:
+OBS means during that week I am on call for the Obstetrics Department at the hospital
+OR means that I am on call that 24h period if any surgerical help is needed.
+FHO is on call for the Family Health Organization.
+UPC is Unattached patient clinic for those pts without a family doctor

PLEASE DO NOT MISS YOUR APPT….OR AT LEAST CALL TO CANCEL !!!! EACH DAY I HAVE AT LEAST 1-4 PATIENTS THAT DO NOT SHOW UP FOR THEIR APPTS. I DO NOT DOUBLE BOOK AS I FEEL IT IS NOT FAIR TO HAVE TO RUSH PATIENTS. WHEN YOU DON’T SHOW UP THAT TIME IS LOST AND ANOTHER PATIENT COULD HAVE USED IT SO PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL. EVEN IF YOU CANCEL THAT DAY IT IS BETTER THAN JUST NOT COMING AT ALL.
