 Information for patients

As you all know by now I am retiring Oct 31st.  This is a very positive transition as you and I are so fortunate to have such a great replacement in Dr Danielle Lewis!  She will continue to be able to confer with me about your care when needed.  If you would like to come in to say goodbye but do not have a medical requirement then we have set up a day –  Oct 29.  You need to book in an appt so we know you’re coming.  Cards and pictures are welcome but no gifts please!  Instead you can donate to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation or the Hospice.

Dr Lewis will be in the 3rd floor suite – not in Suite 205.

Thank you for making the past 22yrs the most fulfilling adventure for me.  I have been so blessed and will not forget all the wonderful people I have had the privilege to care for! 

Each week I will update my schedule each Monday for that week so that you know what I am up to.  Please look under the Hours of Operation section.

The abbreviations for my schedule are:

+OBS means during that week I am on call for the Obstetrics Department at the hospital

+OR means that I am on call that 24h period if any surgerical help is needed.

+FHO is on call for the Family Health Organization.

+UPC  is Unattached patient clinic for those pts without a family doctor
