Diabetes Education

Our Diabetes Team consists of 2 Registered Dietitians and 2 Certified Diabetes Educators.

The Team provides both individual and group sessions for adults and seniors with either Prediabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, and Gestational Diabetes.

Some of the topics that these FREE sessions will cover are: Healthy Eating, Understanding what Prediabetes and Type 2 Diabetes means, discussion of lab work, glucometer instruction, diabetes medications, insulin education, physical activity information, weight management, and stress management.

These topics will be provided by the Registered Dietitian and/or the Certified Diabetes Educators, with referrals to the onsite pharmacist, foot care specialist or social worker.
