Sangha, meaning “community”, is one of the cornerstones of an individual’s meditation practice. Sangha is a monthly drop-in group class, open to anyone in the community who would like to cultivate a sense of wellness through regular mindfulness and meditation practice. Participation is completely open; no prior experience in meditation instruction is required. Pre-registration is not required and there is no fee to attend.
Each Sangha will be held once a month. Generally the format of the evening will begin with a guided meditation followed by a short talk, some discussion, and close with another meditation. Classes will be led by Bette Hodgins and when available, Dr. John Stewart.
An individual meditation practice is nurtured and sustained in a community of people who share a desire for ongoing personal growth and well-being. Sangha is being offered to meet this need and provide a means for people to continue their journey of wellness.
